Google Voice's transcription used to be pretty bang-on but a few weeks ago I noticed a severe degradation in the quality. I can't rely on it for much more than a general idea of what the caller was trying to communicate...and a good laugh every now and then. :-).

You're absolutely right. I've got a few spare cycles in the evenings and on weekends so this could be a good fit for me. Till this point, I figured I had to be a 133t, ninja programmer in order to contribute to the Ubuntu community. It was eye-opening to find out that's not the case.

Good luck. I am taking it in August and am super worried. So much to memorize. I completed the Security+, however the CISSP requires that you know 10 times as much material.

I really want a smart phone, but cannot afford one these days; but when the IPhone hit, I was really excited. Everything I've heard since then has been a real let down. Alot of people I know have blackberrys, so I think that's what I'll try as soon as I can. I've only heard good things about them!
